Surrogacy Laws in Colorado

There aren’t any Colorado statutes out there that deal with surrogacy.

Explanation: There is a Colorado statute that says that the child and parent relationship is granted to every child equally and to each parent, no matter what the marital status of the parents is at the time. There is another statute that deals with parental rights concerning children who were conceived with assisted reproduction. The statute, however, doesn’t deal with surrogacy agreements explicitly, and it addresses only women who want to conceive children by themselves, and not as surrogate parents.
