Surrogacy Laws in New Mexico

New Mexico seems to only allow surrogacy arrangements that are uncompensated. LGBT surrogacy arrangements haven’t come up in the courts yet.

Explanation: New Mexico doesn’t allow a woman to receive payment for carrying and conceiving a child. However, the law is open to the mother of the adoptee getting medical and other expenses taken care of.
