Surrogacy Law in Texas

Texas law clearly allows surrogacy contracts that are gestational, but it seems to exclude couples that are same-sex.

Explanation: Surrogacy contracts are closely governed in Texas, and among the limitations on these contracts, the law necessitates the parents who are intended to be married to one another. The law also says that a surrogacy contract has to be validated by some court. An agreement would be unenforceable if it weren’t validated.
